Ghaziabad: Man Strangles Wife, Hides Body Under Bed Before Hanging Self At Farm House

The bodies of a married couple were recovered from Crystal Farm House in the Wave City police station area. The deceased have been identified as 25-year-old Rahul, who worked as a decorator at the farm house, and his 23-year-old wife,Suman.

Discovery of Bodies Rahul was found hanging in the room, while upon further investigation of the scene, police discovered Suman’s body hidden under the bed. A rolling pin (belan) stained with blood and flour was recovered from the spot.

Sequence of Events ACP Wave City Priyashree Pal stated that a dispute had arisen between the couple on Monday night. While other staff members managed to calm them down initially, the sound of them shouting was heard later that night.

Police Investigation It has emerged that Suman was strangled to death with her own dupatta. Police suspect that she was first assaulted with the rolling pin and subsequently strangled. Following the murder, Rahul committed suicide by hanging himself.

Background and Action Rahul was originally a resident of Dulkara in the Ahar police station area of Bulandshahr. The police have sent both bodies for post-mortem examination.
