The Pallavpuram police have arrested two smugglers accused of supplying ganja (cannabis) to hotels and roadside eateries (dhabas) along the Delhi-Dehradun highway. The police recovered 20 kilograms of cannabis and a Swift car from their possession.
According to the police, SSP Dr Vipin Tada had provided a tip-off regarding smugglers supplying narcotics to establishments between Delhi and Dehradun. Following this intelligence, police teams from Kankarkheda and Pallavpuram launched a search operation.

The Pallavpuram police intercepted the Swift car in front of Kailashi Hospital and arrested the two occupants. During interrogation, the smugglers were identified as Dawood, alias OmnathSapera, and Sahil, both residents of Dehradun. The police are currently questioning the accused to gather information about the hotel and dhaba operators involved in the illegal trade.
