Ghaziabad Traffic Update: The Uttar Pradesh traffic police on Monday released a diversion plan for Dudheshwarnath Mandir in Ghaziabad ahead of the hyped Mahashivratri. The diversion plan was released as devotees in large numbers are expected to visit the temple and take blessings. The advisory stated that entry of all the commercial vehicles will be restricted on GT Road from Sajan Mor to Meerut Tiraha from 6 PM on Tuesday to 12 PM on Wednesday.
ADCP Piyush Kumar Singh stated that the administration has arranged four different parking spaces for the devotees, adding that they can contact the officials in any case of confusion.
"All types of heavy/medium commercial vehicles from Lal Kuan towards Meerut Tiraha will be diverted from Sajan Mod to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Park Chauraha to Vivekanand Nagar Flyover to Hapur Chungi to ALT Chauraha via Meerut Road and will go towards Meerut Tiraha," Singh was quoted as saying by ANI.
These Are The Parking Arrangements:
-Parking P-1 has been made at Ghantaghar Ramlila Ground for the devotees coming from GT Road and Ambedkar Road; the devotees from here onwards will go towards the temple on foot.
- The devotees coming from the new bus stand will park their vehicles at Ramlila Maidan Ghantaghar P-1 parking and go to the temple on foot.
- All the devotees coming from Hapur Road will park their vehicles in Navyug Market Road P-3 parking and go to the temple on foot.
- The people coming from Vijayanagar will park their vehicles in the Military Ground Vijayanagar P-4 parking and go to the temple on foot.
- Parking P-2 has been made in Shambhu Dayal Degree College for the policemen.

While providing the diversion details, the officials stated that the light commercial vehicles will also not operate between Chaudhary Mod and Hapur Tiraha. These vehicles will have to travel from Chaudhary Mod to Ambekar Road, Old Bus Adda Square, and Hapur Road to Hapur Tiraha.
Apart from this, all the commercial vehicles will be banned from Hapur Chungi towards Thakurdwara Tiraha. These vehicles will have to travel from Hapur Chungi via Rajnagar Extension crossing to Meerut Road towards Meerut Tiraha.
