Boosting In-House Diagnostics And Technical Staff
A major focus of the recruitment drive is to bring testing facilities in-house and strengthen technical departments.
End of Outsourcing: The administration has announced that blood and urine tests will no longer be outsourced to a private company's lab. AIIMS will conduct these tests in-house.

Department-Specific Senior Resident Appointments
The 55 Senior Resident appointments are targeted to strengthen key departments:
Trauma and Emergency: 10 SRs will be placed in this department to enhance emergency services.
General Medicine: 8 SR positions are being filled to address a shortage of doctors. Their arrival is expected to make it easier to treat patients in the OPD.

The responsibility for providing reports for ultrasound, X-ray, CT scans, and MRIs currently lies with radiologists from a private company.
