Greater Noida Smart Township: Residents will soon have the opportunity to own homes in Greater Noida’s Integrated Industrial Smart Township (IITGNL). The authority is set to announce a plan for four group housing plots, either next month or early in the new year. All essential infrastructure, including electricity, water supply, and road networks, has already been completed, paving the way for residential development.
The state-of-the-art IITGNL is being developed on 750 acres within the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). It will house industrial, commercial, and residential facilities within a single campus.
According to the authority, 39 plots have been reserved for industries, four for group housing, and eight for commercial activities. So far, 26 plots in the industrial category have been allotted.
Three more companies interested in investing may soon be allotted plots. Prerna Singh, ACEO-Director of IITGNL, Greater Noida Authority, stated that after the industrial category, preparations are underway to introduce a plan for group housing plots.
The plan will be introduced for the first time for four plots. IITGNL MD NG Ravikumar said the department has begun preparing the plan for plots for group housing.
