In a chilling incident, a trainee doctor allegedly jumped off from the 21st floor of a high-rise building in Gaur City-2 in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida. He was taken to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead.
The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Shiva, who was a resident of UP's Mathura and had come to her sister's house on 14th Avenue in Gaur City-2.
On Monday morning, he went to the balcony of the building and jumped. The police reached the site and rushed him to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Speaking about the incident, Additional DCP (Central Noida) Shavya Goyal said, "On Monday, at 14th Avenue, Gaur City 2, under the jurisdiction of Bisrakh Police Station, the man identified as Shiva committed suicide by jumping from the 21st floor. He was taken for treatment but was declared dead by doctors".
The police found no suicide note in the flat from where he jumped. Shiva was pursuing an MBBS from a private college in Delhi. From the batch of 2015, Shiva's training was suspended after he developed mental health issues in 2020.
The deteriorated mental health caused him distress and depression. The police have taken custody of the body and sent it for a post-mortem.

The ADCP further added that the family has been cooperating with the police and the full enquiry is underway to determine the reason behind the suicide.
