Gurugram: 15-Year-Old Student Dies By Suicide, Allegedly After Getting Low Marks In Exams

In a tragic incident, a 15-year-old boy died by suicide after jumping from the 20th floor of the Ramprastha City society in Sector-37D, Gurugram. The incident occurred late on Tuesday night.

The teenager, identified as Aasmaan, was a Class 10 student at a local private school. His body was found within the society complex around 11 pm by security staff, who immediately alerted his family and the police.

Suspected Cause

According to reports, Aasmaan had recently taken his half-yearly exams and had become withdrawn after receiving low marks.

On Tuesday evening, his father, Ravish Kumar, questioned him about his recent quietness. After the conversation, while other family members were in their rooms, Aasmaan went to the balcony and jumped. His father, who works at a local supermarket, said he was completely unaware that his son would take such an extreme step.

Police have sent the body for a post-mortem and have begun an investigation into the matter.
