Residents in colonies connected to the Swarg Ashram Road electricity substation will face planned power cuts from November 3 to November 10 in Hapur. According to the Sub-Divisional Officer, the outages are necessary to carry out work under the RDSS scheme, which includes replacing damaged wires of the 11 kV line on transformer number two.
As a result, power supply will remain suspended daily between 11 am and 3 pm in areas served by feeder number two, including Green Park Colony, Pannapuri, Shaktinagar, Indralok, Jarauthi Road, Ashok Nagar, New Subhash Nagar, and Gita Colony.
Meanwhile, power supply to areas under the Patna Muradpur electricity substation will also be affected on Sunday (today). The RDSS-related maintenance work here involves replacing worn-out wires and poles on feeder number four.
The outage will impact the Navjyoti Colony area from 11 am to 3 pm. The power department has appealed to residents to cooperate during the scheduled maintenance work.
