Indian Railways Announces Puja Special Trains Via Gorakhpur: Check Full Schedule, Routes And Dates

According to Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh, the following Puja Special Trains have been announced to manage the festive rush.

Darbhanga – Yesvantpur Puja Special Train (05541 or 05542)

This train will run for five trips between Darbhanga and Yesvantpur via Gorakhpur.

Coach Composition: The train will have eight General Second Class, six Sleeper Class, and eight AC Third Class coaches.

- Train No. 05541 (Darbhanga to Yesvantpur)

• Schedule: Will run every Monday from October 20 to November 17.
• Timings: Departs from Darbhanga at 3:35 pm. It will depart from Gorakhpur at 1:05 am and reach Yesvantpur at 2:30 am on the third day.
• Route: The train will travel via Muzaffarpur, Chhapra, Gorakhpur, Aishbagh, Kanpur Central, Bhopal, and Nagpur.

- Train No. 05542 (Yesvantpur to Darbhanga)

• Schedule: Will run every Thursday from October 23 to November 20.
• Timings: Departs from Yesvantpur at 2:15 pm. It will depart from Gorakhpur at 5:05 pm on the third day and reach Darbhanga at 4:30 am on the fourth day.
• Route: The train will travel via Mahbubnagar, Ramagundam, Nagpur, Bhopal, and Kanpur.

 Unreserved Puja Special Trains

- Saharsa – Shakur Basti Unreserved Special (04405/04406)

This train will run for eight trips via Gorakhpur.

• Coach Composition: The train will be equipped with 15 General Second Class/Sleeper Class coaches.
• Train No. 04406 (from Shakur Basti): Will run on October 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26.
• Train No. 04405 (from Saharsa): Will run on October 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28.

Jhanjharpur – Shakur Basti Unreserved Special (04409/04410)

This train will run for five trips via Gorakhpur.

• Coach Composition: The train will be equipped with 15 General Second Class/Sleeper Class coaches.
• Train No. 04410 (from Shakur Basti): Will run on October 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26.
• Train No. 04409 (from Jhanjharpur): Will run on October 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27.
