Meerut Murder Case Update: In the ongoing investigation of the murder of Saurabh, the two accused, Sahil and Muskan, remain in custody at Chaudhary Charan Singh Jail. For six days, neither of them received visitors until Wednesday, when Sahil's grandmother, Pushpa Devi, arrived to see him. After her visit, she claimed that Sahil was not responsible for the crime, stating, “Whatever was done was done by Muskan.” However, she acknowledged that Sahil made a serious mistake in judgement.

Pushpa, who has lived with Sahil in their ancestral home since her daughter’s death 17 years ago, expressed confusion about the events leading to Saurabh's murder. She stated, “I do not know what went on upstairs,” referring to Sahil’s room, but insisted that he did not practice black magic, only having faith in Bhole Baba, whose picture adorned their home.

When asked about Muskan, Pushpa revealed that she had never met her in jail and saw no point in doing so now. She condemned the violence that occurred, saying it should not have happened, but admitted to being perplexed about the reasons behind it. She firmly rejected claims that her deceased uncles were involved in black magic.

Regarding the potential consequences for Sahil and Muskan, Pushpa remarked that it was up to the court and legal professionals to decide their fate, as she felt unqualified to comment on legal matters. During her visit, she brought food items, including bananas, snacks and clothing for Sahil.
