Kanpur Road Accident: As many as 25 people, including women and children, were injured after a tragic accident took place on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in the Araul area of the district on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred when two buses going from Delhi to Gonda collided with each other.

The accident occurred when the driver of a tourist bus attempted to overtake another bus ahead of it. Upon receiving information about the incident, police reached the scene and immediately rushed the injured to nearby hospitals. Several individuals in critical condition were referred to Hallet Hospital for advanced treatment.

How The Accident Take Place

Two buses traveling from Delhi to Gonda were involved in a major accident on Tuesday morning near Makanpur village in the Araul area. According to reports, the bus following behind attempted to overtake the tourist bus in front, leading to a violent collision between the two vehicles.

The impact caused one of the buses to lose control and overturn. Approximately 25 passengers from both buses sustained injuries in the accident. Both vehicles suffered significant damage.

The scene was marked by panic and chaos, with passengers screaming for help. One of the travelers quickly alerted the police. Within a short time, ACP Bilhaur Amarnath Yadav arrived at the scene with a police team.

Emergency responders worked swiftly to rescue those trapped inside the buses and transported the injured to nearby hospitals. Several passengers, including women and children, were reported to be in critical condition and were referred to Hallet Hospital for further treatment.
