About Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway Project

In 2025, the Kanpur-Lucknow expressway will be operational and accessible to the general public. It was originally intended to be a six-lane expressway. This entire route is 63 kilometres long. Nevertheless, it was upgraded later to include eight lanes on the expressway.

The Lucknow Ring Road will be connected to the route. The highway will start from Lucknow's Shaheed Path and travel to Kanpur's Nawabganj.

It will pass via Rawal Marg, Amarsas, Taura, Nyaurana, Datouli Kantha, Banthra, and Bani.

Three large bridges will be built in all. The motorway will also feature six flyovers, 38 underpasses, and 28 minor bridges.
