For the devotees taking a holy bath in the Ganga (Ganga sthan) at the Kartik Purnima fair in Garhmukteshwar and Anupshahar, 300 state roadways buses from six depots have been reserved. Ganga Mata's aarti will be played on these buses. The atmosphere on the buses will be made devotional with chants of "Har-Har Gange, Jai Maa Gange...". This will not only make the journey easier for devotees but also keep people connected to their traditions. The Regional Manager has issued orders to the Assistant Regional Managers of all depots for this.
Kartik Purnima is on November 5. For this, buses from the Loni, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Hapur, and Bulandshahr depots of the Ghaziabad region have been reserved for Garhmukteshwar and Anupshahar from November 2 to November 6. The routes for all buses have also been finalised. Regional Manager Kesari Nandan Chaudhary will be posted as the Fair In-charge. Additionally, other staff members have also been assigned duties.
Officials stated that the number of passengers will increase the day before the holy bath (nahan). To accommodate this, the number of buses will be increased as per the requirement. This will ensure that devotees do not face any problems. Letters have been issued to the Assistant Regional Managers of these depots regarding this.
Staff To Be Deployed 24 By 7 At Inquiry Centers
To ensure passengers do not face any inconvenience, staff will be assigned duties at inquiry centers and inside the bus terminals. Staff will be deployed 24 hours a day in three shifts at the inquiry centers. Kaushambi's Assistant Regional Manager, Anshu Bhatnagar, stated that if any incorrect information is given to the devotees, strict action will be taken against the concerned employee. The bus timings have been fixed, and information must be provided accordingly.
