Lucknow Fire: A massive fire erupted in the Fazullaganj Second Radha Krishna Temple in Madiyaon, Lucknow on Monday morning, destroying nearly 100 huts and causing widespread panic among local residents. The blaze started near the Radha Krishna temple and quickly escalated, leading to multiple explosions from gas cylinders caught in the flames.

Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Mangesh Kumar informed that the fire department received an alert about the incident at around 8:48 AM. A fire tender was dispatched immediately and reached the location within 10 to 15 minutes.

At present, seven fire tenders are at the site, actively working to bring the blaze under control. Kumar stated that nearly 90 per cent of the fire has been extinguished, with only small pockets of flames remaining under some debris.

Witnesses reported chaos as the fire spread, with people screaming and rushing to safety. Emergency services were alerted, prompting a swift response from the police and fire brigade. Ten fire engines arrived at the scene to combat the flames and assist in rescue efforts. 

Residents described the scene as terrifying, with explosions adding to the chaos. Many were seen helping each other escape the area as the fire quickly engulfed the huts. The local community is now left to assess the damage and seek assistance for those affected by the disaster.
