A special registration camp was organised by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) on April 2 to facilitate the hassle-free registration of properties. The initiative, taken under the leadership of LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar, aimed to streamline the process by preparing all necessary paperwork at a single desk, ensuring convenience for allottees.
During the day-long proceedings, 97 property registrations were successfully completed. The camp, which will continue on Thursday, is being conducted in the presence of a dedicated team from the registry department to ensure smooth execution.

Additional Secretary Gyanendra Verma stated that while the LDA has been regularly allocating residential and commercial properties, many allottees had not yet completed their registration. To address this, a special registration drive was launched at the authority’s committee hall, running from March 24 to 29.
As part of this initiative, officials from various LDA departments, including calculation, accounting, planning, and property sections, collaborated with the registration department to process documents for 384 properties.
The registered properties include flats from multiple housing schemes, including Kanpur Road Yojna, Jankipuram Extension, Sharda Nagar, Basantkunj, and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The initiative was well-received by the allottees, who appreciated the single-desk processing system, which eliminated delays and ensured a seamless registration experience.
