Lucknow Fire News: Seven people, including five firefighters, suffered burn injuries after a massive fire broke out in a flat at Parth Republic Society Apartment on Lucknow-Kanpur Road, causing panic as two residents became trapped in the flames. Fire Safety Officer (FSO) Sarojini Nagar and other fire personnel rushed to the scene and began firefighting operations.

According to Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Mangesh Kumar, FSO Sumit entered the burning flat wearing a breathing apparatus (BA) set and successfully rescued both trapped individuals. However, during the operation, Sumit and five other firemen sustained burn injuries.

All seven injured persons, including the two rescued residents and the fire personnel, were immediately transported to the hospital for medical treatment. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

In another incident, a bus carrying 35 devotees from Ranchi to Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj caught fire near a village in Ramgarh district, police said on Thursday. The incident occurred around 1 AM near Hesagarha village on National Highway-33. The bus driver sustained multiple injuries while jumping off the vehicle and has been admitted to a local hospital for treatment.

Despite the fire, all the pilgrims escaped unhurt, confirmed Ramgarh Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Parameshwar Prasad. The passengers managed to exit the vehicle in time before the flames spread.

Authorities are yet to determine the exact cause of the fire, and an investigation is underway to ascertain what led to the incident.
