Lucknow residents are advised of planned power disruptions on December 16 as electricity maintenance work and tree trimming are carried out at multiple substations across the city.

Due to maintenance on a power transformer at the Indira Nagar Sector 25 substation, electricity will be shut off from 11 am to 3 pm in areas including Nehru Vihar, Prakash Lok, A Block, B Block, Sector 19, Sector 22, RK Puram, Kanchana Vihari Marg, Jagrani Hospital, Ring Road, Kalyan Garden, Kalyan Apartment, Vitta Lekha, Setu Nigam, and surrounding localities.

Tree trimming at the Gomti Nagar Vishwas Khand substation will cause power cuts in JTRI, Vivek Khand 2, and nearby areas. Similarly, the Mahanagar areas connected to the Subhash Park substation, including Sector C, Sector B, Mahanagar Vigyanpuri, Rahim Nagar, PAC, and Headquarters, will experience outages from 11 am to 1 pm.

Residents near Balai Ara Machine, Qutubpur, Pannalal Chauraha, Umrao Singh Dharamshala, and Takiya Munshiganj, connected to the Ikka Stand substation, will face a power shutdown from 11 am to 1 pm. Tree trimming near the University substation will affect Baba Dayal Hata, Arif Apartment, Sahara House, Mama Hotel, Badi Pani ki Tanki, Rama Shankar Kunj Apartment, Gloria, and surrounding areas from 11 am to 1 pm.

Finally, electricity supply to Sector L, Sector H, Sector I, Sector K, and Khazana Market, connected to the Bangla Bazar substation, will be disrupted from 12 pm to 4 pm.

Engineers have advised residents to plan accordingly and take necessary precautions during the scheduled outages.
