Maharishi University Noida: Two Student Groups Clash Violently On Campus

A video of a fight on the campus of Maharishi University in Noida, within the jurisdiction of the Sector-39 police station, went viral on social media on Monday. In the video, two groups of students are seen fighting.

In two video clips, one lasting one minute and two seconds and the other nine seconds, the two groups of students are seen confronting each other. Several people from one group are beating a young man wearing a black shirt after knocking him to the ground. They are also seen scuffling with two other young men. During the altercation, the young man's black shirt also appears to be torn.

Meanwhile, a guard is attempting to separate the two groups. In the video, students can also be heard using abusive language and saying things like, "meet me outside" and "he is my brother, now you dare touch him."

The university management and the police have taken cognizance of the video and are investigating the matter.
