The Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has intensified its efforts to connect Noida Airport to the Ganga Expressway with a 74.5 km greenfield expressway. In the latest development, the UPEIDA has imposed a halt on the registration of new deeds for the listed lands.
The Greenfield Expressway will connect the lands of 56 villages in Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr. Out of these 56 villages, 8 fall in Gautam Buddha Nagar, while 38 villages fall in Bulandshahr. 14 of these villages are part of Khurja sub-division, while others are part of Bulandshahr, Siyana, and Shikarpur. The expressway will be 120 metres wide.

The proposed expressway will start from Bulandshahr's Siyana at the 44.3 km on the Ganga Expressway and will terminate at Yamuna Expressway's 24.8 km milestone, which is Sector 21 Film City.

Reportedly, the expressway will not cut any of the sectors of Yamuna City as per the new proposal. Earlier, it was passing between the sectors.
Earlier, its length was 83 km but the alignment was prepared again which proposed the link to be terminated at Sector 21, and the length was reduced to 74 km.
The process of land acquisition has started and the proposed link expressway is likely to be completed at a cost of Rs 4,000 crore.
The Ganga Expressway will connect Meerut and Prayagraj districts, while Yamuna Expressway connects Noida with Agra. Once completed, the greenfield link expressway will enhance connectivity from Delhi to Eastern UP and Mumbai among other major cities.
The link expressway will connect industrial sectors 28, 29, 32, and 33 in Yamuna City. This will provide key cargo connectivity to the industrial sectors and Jewar Airport.
