A 19-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself in Khangoda village on Monday evening, allegedly after being harassed and threatened with death by his colleagues. Acting on a complaint filed by the victim's family, the police have detained two individuals for questioning.
Incident Details
The deceased has been identified as Suhail, the son of Mehboob, a resident of Khangoda. He worked at a factory located near Pilkhuwa in Hapur district.
The Threat: It is alleged that the factory supervisor had been threatening to kill Suhail over a dispute.
Sequence Of Events: On Monday at approximately 4:30 pm, the supervisor reportedly visited Khangoda village and met with a local youth. He allegedly instructed the youth to inform Suhail that he would kill him, before leaving the premises. The local youth then went to Suhail's house and conveyed the threat to the family.
The Suicide: Distraught by the situation, Suhail took his own life around 6:00 pm by hanging himself with a rope from a girder in a room used for tethering cattle.
Discovery: A short while later, the deceased's younger sister discovered the body when she went to the area. The family immediately alerted the police.

Police Action And Investigation
Police arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination.
The Accused: Based on the family's complaint, a report has been registered against two individuals:
- Ramraj alias Pappu, a resident of Shaulana, Hapur district.
- Rajkishore, a resident of Khangoda.
Current Status: Jarcha Two DetainedKotwali in-charge Prakash Nath stated that both accused have been detained and are currently being questioned. The investigation is ongoing.
