The Noida health department has recorded 245 cases of dengue over the past 22 days, with five patients currently being treated at the District Hospital in Sector-39. With nine new cases reported on Monday, the total number of affected patients has reached 321. 

To curb the situation, the health department has been carrying out anti-larval spraying and fogging in various locations with establishing eight hotspots to closely monitor the cases. Officials stated that the patient recovery rate has significantly increased.

The outbreak had intensified in early September, with daily cases reaching up to 25. From January to August, only 76 cases were reported, but numbers began rising in September, with 12-18 daily cases initially.

District Malaria Officer Shruti Kirti Verma urged residents to avoid water accumulation around homes and to wear full-sleeved clothing. She advised that anyone experiencing fever, headache, body aches, or skin rashes should consult a specialist doctor immediately for testing.
