A fire broke out late night at the warehouse of Process Company Limited, a factory manufacturing candles and incense sticks in the Hosiery Complex of Noida's Phase 2 area. The blaze started in a storeroom located in the factory's basement.
Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar Choubey stated that the report was received around 1:30 am. Eight fire brigade vehicles were dispatched to extinguish the blaze, though firefighters faced difficulty due to its location in the basement. There were no casualties reported, and goods stored on the upper floors were saved. A short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire.
This incident occurred just two days after a fire broke out in a first-floor flat in the La Residencia society in Greater Noida West. The fire, which started around 4:15 pm, destroyed items kept in the apartment's balcony and storeroom.

According to the flat owner, Vikas Mani, smoke suddenly began billowing from the storeroom near the balcony. Within moments, the flames intensified and spread to nearby pipes. A cooler, a heater, and a children's cradle in the storeroom were completely destroyed. Family members and neighbors raised an alarm and began fighting the fire with buckets of water. The society's maintenance team quickly arrived and used the building's fire system to bring the blaze under control in about 15 minutes. No one was injured in the incident, but several household goods were lost. The cause of this fire has not yet been determined.
