Around 1:45 am late Tuesday night, a fire broke out at a car repair showroom located in J-Block of Sector 63. It's believed the fire started from a spark coming from a parked car.

The fire spread very quickly, engulfing the first and second floors of the showroom and reaching the office area. As a result, eight cars that were parked there were completely burned to ashes.

As soon as the fire department was notified, fire trucks and officials rushed to the scene. Firefighters worked hard to get the blaze under control, using eight fire engines to finally put it out.

The Chief Fire Officer, Pradeep Kumar Choubey, stated that it was a Maruti showroom where repair work is also done. Many cars were inside the building overnight and the fire began with a spark from one of them.

The good news is that no one was inside the showroom when the fire started. A security guard reported the fire, and eight trucks were sent from Sector 58 and other fire stations. The firefighters had trouble breathing because of the thick smoke inside and had to wear breathing masks to do their job.

According to the Chief Fire Officer, a lot of property in the showroom was destroyed in the fire, but thankfully, no one was injured or killed.
