Noida IIT Baba Assault: Abhay Singh, popularly known as 'IIT Baba', reported an alleged assault during a news debate on a private channel in Noida on Friday. Singh claims that a group of saffron-clad individuals entered the newsroom, behaved inappropriately towards him and physically attacked him with sticks.
Following the incident, 'IIT Baba' was seen sitting outside the police outpost in Sector 126, protesting against the assault. However, he later ended his protest after police officials managed to persuade him.

No Formal Complaint Filed
Bhupendra Singh, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Sector 126 police station, confirmed that 'IIT Baba' chose not to pursue the complaint further after discussions with the police.
Abhay Singh, who transitioned from being an aerospace engineer to a sadhu, gained fame during the Maha Kumbh. His unique journey from IIT-Mumbai graduate to spiritual leader has captured public interest, particularly due to his bold statements.
Social Media Backlash Over Cricket Prediction
In a recent event, social media users reacted to his controversial pre-match prediction regarding the India vs Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match. Singh had confidently claimed that India would lose and that star player Virat Kohli would not perform well. However, India won the match by six wickets, with Kohli scoring an impressive century. Following this, social media erupted with memes mocking 'IIT Baba' for his failed prediction.
