Noida Metro Update:  The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has selected consultant firm Ayesa to prepare Detailed Design Drawings (DDC) for its three proposed metro corridors. Work will start within the next 15 days after final verification of the company’s documents.

Noida Metro Approves Three New Metro Corridors

-Sector-51 to Knowledge Park-V (Greater Noida West) –

The stretch of Noida Metro connecting Sector-51 with Knowledge Park-5 covers a distance of 17.345 km and features 11 stations.

-Sector-142 to Botanical Garden – 11.56 km, 8 stations

-Greater Noida Depot to Bodaki – 2.6 km, 2 stations

All three corridors of Noida Metro will cover a length of 31.595 km in total, costing Rs 24.21 crore. The contract duration of the company is 5 years.

Noida Metro Update: Current Status Of Each Route

- Sector-51 to Knowledge Park-V: File pending with the Central government

- Sector-142 to Botanical Garden: Approval expected soon

- Depot to Bodaki: Central approval received; soil testing underway

Topographical surveys for the Sector-142–Botanical Garden and Depot–Bodaki routes are already complete and will be handed over to the consultant.

Noida Metro Corridors: Green Feature

All stations on these three corridors will be equipped with solar panels to generate electricity for station operations. NMRC Executive Director Mahendra Prasad said the consultant will submit detailed civil, electrical, mechanical and track designs along with cost estimates, paving the way for construction tenders once approvals are in place.
