Noida Crime News: A shocking incident has come to light in Noida where a young woman was duped of Rs 65 lakh by her live-in partner, whom she met on a matrimonial site. The accused, identified as Nehul Surana from Jaipur, promised to marry the woman but allegedly had other motives.

According to the complaint, the woman, a resident of Sector 56 and working in a multinational company in Sector 62, met Nehul on a matrimonial site in August 2024. He described himself as a businessman, and the woman liked his profile. They met at a restaurant and later at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sector 18, where he promised to marry her soon.

The couple started living together in a live-in relationship in Noida, and Nehul convinced the woman to transfer Rs 25 lakh to his bank account, claiming it was for their business and marriage. He further took a loan of Rs 40 lakh from the woman, which he allegedly absconded with.

After living together for about nine months, Nehul suddenly left the woman's residence. When she contacted his relatives, they disowned him, advising her to sever all ties.

The woman filed a complaint with the Sector 58 police station, and a case has been registered. ADCP Noida, Sumit Kumar Shukla, assured that two police teams are searching for the accused, who will be arrested soon.
