Noida Traffic Advisory: Noida traffic police have implemented a ban on the entry of goods vehicles of all sizes on key routes during peak hours. This restriction affects heavy, medium and light goods vehicles on the Noida Expressway, as well as on Master Plan (MP) 1, MP 2 and MP 3 roads. MP 1 connects the DND Flyway to Sector 62, while MP 2 runs from the Film City flyover to the Sector 60 underpass and MP 3 connects Okhla Barrage to Kisan Chowk. The ban will be in effect daily from 7 AM to 11 AM and from 5 PM to 10 PM.

This new regulation is part of the guidelines from the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) under GRAP stage 1, which commenced on Tuesday. The aim of these restrictions is to reduce traffic jams on these critical routes, where congestion has been a persistent issue. Previously, only heavy goods carriers faced restrictions during peak hours, while small and medium vehicles were exempt. Now, all goods vehicles will be subject to the ban.
