Noida Water Supply: In a bid to improve water supply in nearby residential societies and institutions of Greater Noida and Greater Noida West, the Greater Noida Authority is constructing four underground water reservoirs (UGR). These reservoirs will be constructed in Techzone 4, Sector 2, Eta 2 and Sector 3. The reservoirs will be built at a cost of Rs 10 crore and facilitate water supply in their surrounding areas. The construction is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
Noida Water Supply: Check List Of Societies To Benefit
Rajesh Kumar, Senior Manager of Water Department, said, “Three new reservoirs are being constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 10 crore. These reservoirs will be ready by the end of this year.” Reservoirs will be built in Techzone 4, Sector 2, Eta 2 and Sector 3.
The underground reservoir of Techzone 4 will have a capacity of 10,000 KLD, whereas the reservoirs of Sector 2, Sector 3 and Eta 2 will have a capacity of 6,000, 3,000 and 1,500 KLD respectively.

The underground reservoir of Techzone 4 will provide water supply to 19 nearby societies and institutions, including Himalaya Pride, Cherry County, Fusion Homes, Green Arc, JM Florence, Spring Meadows, Samriddhi, Mayfair, La Residencia, Haveli, NX One, Gaur Saundaryam, Nirala Estate, Ace Aspire, Leisure Park, Royal Nest, Galaxy Vega, Panchtatva and Amrapali Leisure Park etc.
Similarly, the UGR of Sector 2 will provide water supply to Sector 2’s Blocks A, B, C, D, E, and F and societies like Eros Sampoornam and Nirala etc. The UGR of Sector 3 will supply water to Sector 3’s Blocks A, B, C, D and Janta Flat.
Keeping in mind the increasing population of Greater Noida, the CEO of Greater Noida Authority, NG Ravi Kumar, has instructed the authorities to prepare the necessary infrastructure soon.
