Anganwadi centers operating within the premises of council primary schools have been developed into Bal Vatikas (pre-primary classes) across Up. Starting Wednesday, a special campaign titled "Sunehri Shuruaat Bal Vatika" will be launched to promote admissions in these pre-primary classes. This campaign will run until April 29, targeting the enrollment of children aged 3 to 6 years.
As part of the campaign, efforts will be made to encourage parents to enroll their children in Bal Vatikas, emphasising the benefits of early childhood education in preparing them for Class 1 and beyond. Parents will be educated on the importance of pre-primary education in laying a strong academic foundation. The campaign also aims to raise community awareness about the value of education in the early years through active public participation.
