Jansatta Dal Loktantrik MLC Akshat Pratap Singh on Thursday announced that his party will contest all seats in the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, with a key promise of providing free IVF facilities for women if voted to power.

Speaking at a Ganpati Pujan organised at Rajiv Chaudhary’s residence in Sheelkunj Colony, Singh said his party, currently the third largest in UP, aims to emerge as the number one force in the next elections. “Even if we remain second, no government will be formed without us,” he asserted.

Highlighting the lack of IVF centres in state-run medical colleges, Singh termed it “unfortunate” and said the government must ensure free IVF services.

Taking a swipe at other regional leaders, Singh claimed that many float parties only to contest from caste-dominated seats, while his party’s president fights from constituencies with just 10,000 Thakur votes.

On opposition allegations of vote theft, he remarked that such claims are not new, but stressed that strict action should be taken against electoral malpractices in the future.
