The Uttar Pradesh government has approved 350 new projects under the Chief Minister's Tourist Destination Development Scheme. Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh informed that projects worth Rs 5 crore have been sanctioned for Ambedkarnagar and Amethi districts.
In Ambedkarnagar, Rs 75 lakh each will be spent on the tourism development of Sant Baba Govind Sahab’s Tapobhoomi Math Ahirauli in Alapur and Kali Mandir in Dilawalpur, Bhiti (Katehari constituency).

In Amethi, Rs 75 lakh has been sanctioned for Mahavir Mandir in Musafirkhana and Vileshwar Mahadev Mandir in Gauriganj. Additionally, Rs 1 crore each will be allocated for Baba Lakkha Das Kuti in Saidapur (Tiloi block) and Baba Mahavir Das Mandir in Musafirkhana, Gauriganj.
The minister will also lay the foundation stone for development projects in Raebareli’s Unchahar on Friday, Mainpuri’s Ghantaghar Lenganj on Saturday, and Firozabad’s Thakur Ji Maharaj Mandir in Sirsaganj on Sunday.
