Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed senior officials to visit and assess the actual changes in aspirational districts and blocks. Eight separate officers at the Principal Secretary and Secretary levels will visit eight aspirational districts on a three-day tour. Similarly, 108 officers at the Special Secretary level will visit 108 aspirational blocks. The Chief Minister has asked all these officers to prepare a detailed report after investigation.
The Chief Minister's Office will prepare a list of officers to be sent. In a high-level meeting on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said that the government's priority through these programs run by NITI Aayog is to ensure the reach of service and development to the last person.
The Chief Minister termed these programs as a living example of the concept of Antyodaya and directed to take each district and development block forward with continuous monitoring and result-oriented strategy. He said that due to continuous efforts, review and monitoring in aspirational districts, remarkable improvement is being seen. It is satisfactory that six districts of Uttar Pradesh are included in the top 10 aspirational districts of the country.
Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Chandauli, Sonbhadra, Shravasti and Fatehpur are among the top-10 districts of the country in the field of health and nutrition. Similarly, in the field of education, Balrampur, Sonbhadra, Shravasti, Siddharthnagar and Chitrakoot have also made it to the top 10 at the national level.

Siddharthnagar ranks fifth in the financial inclusion and skill development category. Terming it a big achievement for the state, the Chief Minister directed to maintain this progress. In the overall delta ranking for the period from March 2023 to March 2024, Aurai (Sant Ravidas Nagar) development block has secured the first position. Richa (Bareilly) in health and nutrition category, Chahaniya (Chandauli) in education, Salarpur (Badaun) in agriculture and allied services, Khesraha (Siddharthnagar) in basic infrastructure and Shukul Bazar (Amethi) in social development category secured top positions.
The Chief Minister directed to ensure responsibility and accountability of CM Fellows posted in aspirational development blocks. He said that weekly monitoring of the work of CM Fellows should be done. Now it has been about two and a half years since their deployment.
Their ranking will be prepared after completion of three years tenure. The state government will also give preference to CM Fellows for joining government service. Rules are being framed in this regard. The Chief Minister said that important posts like BDO, CDO, Medical Officer, Veterinary Officer, ADO Panchayat, Block Education Officer and other important posts should not remain vacant in aspirational districts and blocks. Wherever the posts are vacant, postings should be made immediately.
Micro planning and regular monitoring should be done for smooth implementation of schemes in these areas.Bankers committee meetings should be held regularly at the district and state level. Programs like Aspirational Districts and Development Blocks are becoming an effective medium to implement 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' on the ground and Uttar Pradesh is emerging as a national model in this direction.
