In a major initiative to bridge the gap between textbook learning and practical knowledge, the Secondary Education Department has announced an educational tour program for students of Classes 9 to 12 in government secondary schools. Launched under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, the scheme aims to introduce students to advanced agricultural techniques and top scientific institutions across the country.

As part of the program, students will gain hands-on experience in modern farming methods such as organic farming and greenhouse cultivation. The tours will also include visits to renowned national agricultural institutes, offering a real-world glimpse into the sector’s innovations.
