A major discrepancy has come to light in the data of the U-DISE and Manav Sampada portal for the academic session 2025-26 in Uttar Pradesh. Many council schools are still being shown as having zero or only one teacher, even though teachers have been posted there in previous years through transfers and new recruitment.

The department has ordered an investigation to rectify this problem. A school-wise investigation will be conducted into the schools shown as having zero or a single teacher in the 2023-24, 2024-25, and 2025-26 academic sessions, based on the U-DISE data.

A team of expert officers has been formed for the investigation. It includes Anand Prakash Shukla, Akanksha Rawat, Manish Kumar, Sunil Kumar Patel, and Block Education Officer Santwana Shukla.

This team will investigate schools in the Bahraich, Balrampur, Ballia, Lakhimpur Kheri, and Shahjahanpur districts. During the investigation, data from the U-DISE and Manav Sampada portals will be cross-referenced.
