A one-day training session was conducted on Tuesday for Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) from all 403 assembly constituencies across Uttar Pradesh. The session, held at the Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management (UPAM), marked the first phase of a three-phase training initiative aimed at improving the accuracy and quality of the state’s voter list.

State Chief Electoral Officer Randeep Rinwa inaugurated the training and emphasised the collective responsibility of ensuring that every eligible citizen's name is included in the electoral rolls. He noted that the initiative follows the guidelines of the Election Commission of India and is essential for eliminating errors and strengthening voter registration.
