The Uttar Pradesh government has approved 16 new tourism development projects for Ayodhya with an estimated budget of Rs 92.46 crore. Proposed by the Ayodhya Tirth Vikas Parishad, these projects focus on improving infrastructure and tourist facilities at various locations. Key developments include the Kamhariya Baba temple in Tarun block, Gahnag Baba Dham in Ram Patti, Suchita Ganj Sohawal, and Tulsi Das Chavni Mandir.
In Ayodhya, the Ram Ki Paidi ghat will get a viewing gallery and improved tourist facilities. Beautification work is planned for Makhoda Bharat Kund, Shravan Kshetra, Shringi Rishi Ashram, and Dashrath Samadhi Sthal. The Thakur Ram Janaki temple will also undergo tourism development and beautification.
An amphitheater and food court will be built near Rajghat on the Saryu River. Saket Sadan will house a museum and interpretation center dedicated to the Panchkosi, Chaudahkosi, and Chaurasi Kosi Parikrama.
A tourist facility center will be constructed in Abanpur Saroha village in Masuda block. Further projects include developing Ram Path, Bhakti Path, Dharm Path, Janmabhoomi Path, installing misting fans and canopies, beautifying Gulab Bari Farm near Acharya Narendra Dev's area, renovating Kaushalesh Sadan, Bhaskar Bhavan, and Sant Niwas, and installing benches and lighting opposite Guftar Ghat for the convenience of travelers. Uttar Pradesh Projects Corporation Limited will execute these projects, aiming to enhance the experience of visitors to Ayodhya.
