Home Guards in Uttar Pradesh will also be eligible for a three-year age relaxation in the ongoing direct recruitment-2025 for Civil Police Constable and equivalent posts. With this relaxation, the maximum age limit for both male and female Home Guard candidates has been increased from 25 to 28 years.
Additional Secretary (Recruitment) Satyarth Aniruddha Pankaj said that a three-year age relaxation has been granted to candidates of all categories in the police recruitment process. An official order to this effect was issued on January 5, and the benefit has now been extended to Home Guards as well.

According to the notification, the date of birth of eligible male and female candidates should fall between July 2, 1997, and July 1, 2007. Candidates have been advised to regularly check the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board’s official website, uppbpb.gov.in, for updates and detailed information.
The online application process for the recruitment of 32,679 constables and equivalent posts in the Uttar Pradesh Police began on December 31, and the last date to apply is January 30.

-Constable PAC/Armed Police: 15,131 posts
-Constable Civil Police: 10,469 posts
-Constable Special Security Force: 1,341 posts
-Constable Mounted Police: 71 posts
-Jail Warder (Male): 3,279 posts
-Jail Warder (Female): 106 posts
