In a shocking incident, a woman was stopped on the way and was brunt alive by six individuals in Uttar Pradesh's Farrukhabad. The incident took place on Saturday when the victim stepped out of her home to buy medicines from Jahanganj'sDariyaganj village.
The accused stopped, poured petrol, and burnt her alive, following which she was rushed to the Lohia Hospital. After her condition deteriorated, she was referred to the University of Medical Science. She succumbed to her burn injuries in Saifai.
On Sunday, the victim's father, Balram Singh Chauhan, a shikshamitra in the government school, filed a complaint against one identified and five unidentified individuals. He alleged that the accused used to harass her daughter.
Chauhan, a resident of village Jhijhuki of Jahanganj police station area, married his daughter Nisha to Amit Singh Chauhan, a resident of village Jallapur of Mohammadabad Kotwali area, in 2013.

Her husband Amit works in a private company in Delhi. Nisha lived in NekpurChaurasi of Fatehgarh with her two children, Rudra and Shaurya.
In her complaint, Chauhan said that late on Saturday evening, Nisha went to get medicine. Later, Later a doctor from Dariyaganj called and informed him about Nisha's condition.
Chauhan immediately reached the site and brought the daughter to Lohia Hospital for better treatment. On the way to the hospital, she told her father that a youth from village Nagla Jaitpur, along with his five companions, burnt her by pouring petrol on her near the orchard behind the school in village Kundan Ganeshpur.
The police have not registered a case in the matter. SHO Rajesh Rai said that further action will be taken after a detailed investigation.
