The Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Board has announced an online auction of residential and non-residential plots across seven cities, including Lucknow, Agra, Meerut, Kanpur, Bareilly, Varanasi and Gorakhpur. The e-auction will be conducted on September 30, with registrations open until September 29.
The board has also opened registration for plots in the upcoming IT City under Lucknow’s Vrindavan Yojana. Vacant properties under various housing schemes will be available for purchase, including plots for hotels, group housing, institutions and nursing homes.

Housing Commissioner Chandan Patel stated that if only one bid is received for a property, the auction will be repeated. Fresh registration for such cases will be allowed between October 4 and 26, with the next round of e-auction scheduled for October 27.
In addition, plots for large projects will be offered in Ghaziabad, while Ayodhya’s Greenfield Township will include plots earmarked for hotels, institutions ons and healthcare centres.
In the Lucknow Zone alone, 362 properties will be auctioned, including 119 non-residential plots, 129 residential plots and buildings, 33 group housing plots, 13 nursing home plots, 29 shops, 5 IT plots, 21 school plots and 13 hotel plots.
