The Uttar Pradesh government is implementing various campaigns to combat climate change, focusing on air quality, water conservation, and urban greening. 310 acres have been greened using the Miyawaki method. Efforts are being made to increase carbon dioxide absorption thirtyfold through gardens and green policies.

To reduce plastic pollution, roads are being constructed using plastic waste. Measures are also being taken to effectively control air pollution and rising temperatures. Afforestation is a major focus of the state's climate change mitigation efforts. Under this, 310 acres have been planted in urban areas using the Miyawaki method developed in Japan.

Additionally, 32 acres are being forested under the Upvan Policy. To address plastic pollution, a significant component of urban waste, the use of plastic in road construction is being promoted.
