Sonu was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
What Did Sonu’s Mother Say About Incident
Talking about the incident, the victim’s mother, Sukhwiri, said that arguments between husband and wife are normal, and she did not know the reason behind the fight, which led to an unfortunate ending.
"My son ensured his wife had everything. He even sold a bigha of land for her while she took away my jewellery. They (in-laws) gave him something to drink and killed him," alleged Sukhwiri.
CCTV Footage Of Incident
CCTV footage captures the violent incident, leading to the murder of Sonu, showing a group of men, one carrying a stick, chasing Sonu down the highway. Based on Sonu's family's complaint, a case has been registered against seven individuals, including Sonu's wife, who are currently evading the law.
