As part of the Comprehensive Revision-2025, village-to-village verification of duplicate voters has been carried out on the electoral roll for thHapur Panchayat election. So far, 19,504 duplicate voters have been found, with the names of these voters being removed from the list.
For the verification of duplicate voters under the Comprehensive Revision-2025, 89 supervisors and 454 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have been assigned duties across the three tehsils (sub-districts). In 273 Gram Panchayats covering 1,02,070 households and 7,47,567 registered voters, 5,418 duplicate voters were found in Hapur tehsil, 7,262 in Dhaulana, and 6,824 in Garhmukteshwar. Names of verified duplicates have been deleted, while 73,182 voters remain on the list following verification.
Out of 1,69,550 potential duplicate voters in the district, the verification of only 92,686 has been completed.
ADM Sandeep Singh stated that if a voter's name appears identically in more than one place within the Gram Panchayats of the district's development blocks, the name will be removed from the additional location. BLOs have been assigned the duty of conducting door-to-door verification for this purpose.

Singh further explained that if a person's name, father's/husband's/mother's name, and gender are identical and found to be correct upon verification, their names will not be removed. Instead, the last four digits of their Aadhaar card will be recorded for authentication. The BDO has been appointed as the nodal officer for this process.
