Hardoi Road Accident: In a tragic road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi, six people died after an auto collided with a truck near Hardalmau on the Sandiala-Bangarmau road on Thursday morning. Apart from the six deceased people, three other people got badly injured after the auto overturned after the collision. The officials stated that the injured people were admitted to the local hospital, where they are receiving the treatment. While providing details, the officials stated that the auto was going from Kasimpur to Sandiala with a total of ten passengers in it.
The auto collided with the truck coming from the opposite direction near Hardalmau village on the Sandiala-Bangarmau road. The locals stated that the collision was so strong that the auto overturned completely, leading to casualties. The officials stated that apart from the auto driver Ranjit, six residents of separate districts died in the accident. While the locals tried to admit the injured to the local hospital, the truck driver fled with the truck.
The police arrived at the accident site after receiving information from the locals and admitted the injured to a local hospital. The locals stated that the auto had more passengers than its capacity, and the driver lost control upon seeing the truck coming from the opposite direction.
They further stated that the auto collided with the truck due to overspeeding and losing control. CO Sandila Satyendra Singh said that while the exact reason behind the accident is not known yet, the police are investigating the matter. After identifying four deceased, their families have been informed, Singh stated.
Apart from this, five people, including two women and two children, died after being burned alive after a private bus met with a road accident in Lucknow's Kisanpath. The officials stated that the bus was going towards Delhi and it collided with another bus in the early hours of Thursday, leading to the fire.
