UP To Appoint Chairperson Of Education Service Selection Commission; Applications Open Until Dec 10

The Uttar Pradesh government will soon appoint a new chairperson for the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission, according to Girijesh Tyagi, Special Secretary in the Higher Education Department. Applications, along with biodata, have been invited for the post, and the last date for submission is December 10 at 6 PM.

The selected candidate will serve a three-year term from the date of appointment or until they turn 65, whichever comes first.

Interested individuals must submit their application and biodata in the prescribed format through registered post to the Special Secretary, Higher Education Section-5, Navin Bhavan, Room No. 40, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.

Applications must be accompanied by self-attested copies of all academic and relevant documents.

According to the eligibility norms, candidates who have served as Principal Secretary or equivalent, have been Vice-Chancellors, or have worked as professors for at least 10 years with a minimum of three years of administrative experience are eligible to apply for the post.
