Uttar Pradesh:  Due to ongoing track work between Prayagraj Rambagh and Prayagraj Junction, the Banaras-Prayagraj Rambagh Special Train (05173/05174) will be cancelled on October 20 and 21, Railways stated. Another train, the Ballia-Prayagraj Rambagh special train (05169) will only run till Jhusi, not reaching the Prayagraj Rambagh junction between October 8 to 21.

The Banaras-Prayagraj Rambagh Special Train's schedule has been changed due to track doubling work between Prayagraj Rambagh and Prayagraj Junction on the Banaras-Prayagraj section of Northeast Railway. Passengers should note that the section between Jhusi and Prayagraj Rambagh has been cancelled. Similarly, the return Prayagraj Rambagh-Ballia special train will now depart from Jhusi.

Track doubling work was in progress from October 8 to 16, now the pre-interlock work will take place, followed by non-interlock work from October 17 to 21. Additionally, a block will be in place for inspection by the Railway Safety Commissioner on October 21 as the system is upgraded from route relay interlocking to electronic interlocking at Prayagraj Junction, a Dainik Jagran correspondent reported.

Services between Jhusi and Prayagraj Rambagh are cancelled for these dates. Similarly, the return train (05138) from Prayagraj Rambagh to Mau, scheduled between October 14 and 22, will start from Jhusi instead of Prayagraj Rambagh.
