A direct bus service from Sultanpur to Gorakhpur has been reinstated after being discontinued for two decades. The service commenced on Saturday, offering a more convenient travel option for passengers who previously had to change buses in Ayodhya. 

The bus departs Sultanpur at 9:30 PM and arrives in Gorakhpur at 3:10 AM. The return trip starts from Gorakhpur at 7:15 AM, reaching Sultanpur at 1:00 PM. The fare is Rs 316. In addition to the Gorakhpur service, two new buses have been introduced on the Sultanpur-Kadipur route via Prayagraj.

These buses depart Sultanpur for Prayagraj at 9:15 AM, arriving at 11:45 AM. The return journey from Prayagraj to Sultanpur begins at 12:20 PM, reaching Sultanpur at 2:50 PM. The bus then continues to Kadipur at 3:30 PM, returning to Sultanpur at 4:30 PM before departing again for Prayagraj. 

Currently, 11 buses operate between Sultanpur and Prayagraj, each making four round trips daily, totaling 44 trips. The fare between Sultanpur and Prayagraj is Rs 157. The Sultanpur depot operates 106 state-owned and 64 private buses, serving various destinations including Delhi, Lucknow, Sitapur, Hardoi, Agra, Azamgarh, Rae Bareli, Ayodhya, Gonda, and Bahraich.
