UP Weather Update: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for fog in multiple Uttar Pradesh districts, including the capital city Lucknow till January 25. The weather body has also issued a rain alert for Wednesday, January 22. There are also chances of rain in some districts of UP on Thursday, January 23. Strong winds are also expected during this time period. There will be rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday and Thursday. According to the latest release by IMD, rain along with thunder and lightning is likely to occur in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Saharanpur, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Amroha, Bijnor, Aligarh, Sambhal, Rampur, Mathura, Agra of western UP on January 22. On January 23, there is a possibility of drizzle in these districts of western UP as well as some other places.

UP Weather Forecast

Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava, a meteorologist at BHU, said that there is no possibility of any significant change in the maximum and minimum temperatures in UP for the next two days, but after that the maximum temperature may fall by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature is also expected to fall slightly.

UP Weather: Fatehpur Was The Coldest

According to Amausi weather centre in Lucknow, the lowest temperature in UP was recorded in Fatehpur on Tuesday. The minimum temperature was 7.2 degrees Celsius which was 0.6 degrees Celsius higher than Monday. At the same time, a slight increase in the minimum temperature has been recorded in many other districts.
