Uttar Pradesh is bracing for another day of heavy rain, with the India Meteorological Department issuing a yellow alert for over 30 districts across the state, particularly in central and western regions. The unpredictable weather pattern has seen intense rainfall followed by scorching sun, causing humidity-related issues for residents.

Central UP: Expect heavy rain with thunder and lightning in districts such as Lucknow, Prayagraj and surrounding areas.

Western UP: Districts like Meerut, Bareilly, and Jhansi are likely to experience heavy rainfall.

UP Weather Today: Heavy Rainfall In Agra, Mathura And Multiple Other Districts

The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in more than 30 districts of Uttar Pradesh for heavy rainfall on Sunday as the state braces for a fluctuating weather pattern. 

The yellow alert has been placed in Banda, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Rural, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Badaun, Mahoba and Lalitpur for heavy rainfall. 

While numerous districts have been placed on an alert for rain, several other districts are expected to witness thunderstorms and lightning on Sunday.

Thunderstorms, Lightning In THESE Districts Of UP

Nearly 40 districts have been placed on yellow alert for expected thunderstorms and lightning in Uttar Pradesh. These districts are Banda, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun, Mahoba and Lalitpur.
