UP Weather Update: Heavy rains are expected in Meerut, Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Bareilly and surrounding areas in the coming days. According to senior meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh, the western end of the monsoon trough line is shifting towards the north. Its effect will be seen especially in the western districts of the state.
However, there is no possibility of rain in most districts of central and eastern Uttar Pradesh for the next five-six days. During this period, there is a possibility of further increase in maximum and minimum mercury.
Rain activity in Lucknow last week brought relief from the humidity, but the weather has suddenly changed for the last two-three days. On Monday, the temperature of the capital increased by about three degrees to 37.4 degrees Celsius, while the night temperature increased by three degrees to 28.9 degrees Celsius.
Monsoon Will Remain Weak
Monsoon activity will remain weak for the time being in Lucknow, Ayodhya, Unnao, Amethi and nearby districts in Central UP and Gorakhpur, Ballia, Azamgarh, Banaras and nearby areas in eastern Uttar Pradesh. There may be sporadic drizzle or light rain in these areas. According to the Meteorological Department, an alert for heavy rain has been issued in Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Jhansi, Lalitpur and nearby districts for Tuesday.

Lightning Warning
On Wednesday, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Agra, Firozabad, Etawah, Shahjahanpur, Jalaun, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding districts will receive heavy rainfall. Apart from this, lightning warnings has been issued in more than 30 districts amid the movement of clouds.
