Consumers in Uttar Pradesh can now access electricity-related services from the comfort of their homes through the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Consumer App. Managing Director of Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Isha Duhan, stated that the app offers various facilities, including electricity bill payments, self-bill generation, online payment tracking, and consumption details.
With this app, consumers can pay their electricity bills anytime, from anywhere in the state. Additionally, they can apply online for name and address corrections, bill modifications, category changes, connection transfers, and solar rooftop installations. The app has been designed to provide a seamless experience for electricity consumers.

Meanwhile, at a Bharatiya Kisan Union (Bhanu) meeting held on March 25 in Dhampur Tehsil premises, farmers expressed dissatisfaction over reduced electricity supply to tube wells. Led by National Vice President Chandraprakash Chauhan and Tehsil President Rajendra Kumar, the farmers demanded a 12-hour power supply (7 AM to 7 PM) for irrigation, citing a lack of water in canals.
During the meeting, farmers also raised concerns about stray animals, leopard attacks, irrigation water shortages, non-functional village feeders, and loan waivers. They submitted a memorandum to the officials, urging the formation of a Kisan Commission to address their grievances.
Notable attendees included Yash Chauhan, Rajendra Kumar, Chandraprakash Singh, Udayram Singh, Mohammad Fahad, Samad, Gulfam, Lavkush, Inder Singh, and Satish Kumar.
